CASE STUDY
TAILORED LOW-CODE ERP FOR A TRAVEL AGENCY
CLIENT PAIN POINTS
The Challenge
A travel agency contacted us to digitalize their entire operations. They wanted to streamline their operations looking for an ERP tailored to their inbound travel business. After trying an off-the-shelves solution , the company experienced several difficulties in terms of solution design, usability, functionality and service and were now looking for a new solution.
Their goals were to:
- Increase operational efficiency and staff output
- Standardize processes to reduce errors
- Centralize data
- Quickly and easily access key business information for both staff and management
EFFORTS
Our Solutions
Leveraging a low-code solution (Zoho Creator), we built a fully customized ERP solution allowing the client to build its travel proposals entirely on the platform. From itinerary creation to the generation of key documents, such as reservations confirmations, travel guide documentation, or travel vouchers, we worked hand-to-hand with the CEO to develop a whole suite of tailored features.
We later supplemented this ERP solution with a Customer Management System (CRM) to further streamline their operations and integrated it with the ERP to avoid data duplication and rationalize workflows between commercial and operations.
We facilitated the automation of recurrent tasks, setting up automatic workflows and further widen the client’s digitalization efforts by integrating an e-signature solution, fully integrated with the other systems.
OUTCOMES
The Results
Before, the client had to manually create itineraries and generate travel related documents using spreadsheets. With the new ERP system, they went from one full day on average to create an itinerary to just a couple of hours.
The client reported that, in their industry, speed is key to increase conversion rates, and that with the new system, they would be able to about 2x their monthly revenue.
